With your entrance ticket you can visit one of Barcelona's most beautiful and singular spaces, the Casa Milà or 'La Pedrera', the derogatory nickname (stonemasonry) given to it by its neighbours for its transgressive appearance. Its spectacular façade of undulating shapes will welcome you for your itinerary through the most significant rooms of this fantastic building.
You can start your visit from the highest part: between the sinuous silhouettes and the unevenness of the roof, with its magically shaped chimneys, also present in other works by Gaudí. Descending to the attics, a space houses the only exhibition dedicated to the architect's life and works, with plans, models, objects, drawings, photographs and videos.
You can visit a flat where the environment of the early 20th century has been recreated, which will bring you closer to the lifestyle of a bourgeois family, with furniture of the period and ornamental elements designed by Gaudí himself. To conclude the visit, the courtyards and caves, an example of Gaudí's innovations, where the naturalistic inspiration of the whole building can be recognised.
Nowadays, La Pedrera is an important cultural centre, a reference point in Barcelona for all the activities it organises and for the different museum and public spaces it includes.
