Depart Las Vegas heading west, passing Lake Meade and Hoover Dam, to reach one of the 7 Wonders of the World: the Grand Canyon. Arrive in the morning and board the Hualapai shuttle to reach the first viewpoint, known as Eagle Point. Here you will find the Grand Canyon's famous skywalk, a glass walkway in the shape of a horseshoe that sits 4,000 metres above the canyon floor and boasts a spectacular and unique view of the canyon's western rim. The unique design of this bridge will make you feel weightless as you 'float' with a 360-degree view. (Please note: entrance to the skywalk is INCLUDED) After enjoying the skywalk, there will be time to visit the small Native American Indian village of the Hualapai tribe and enjoy a delicious lunch (included in the tour package) in the air-conditioned Skywalk Café.
After Eagle Point, the tour will continue to Guano Point, from where there are magnificent views; its unique topography has caused this place to be seen in Hollywood movies for decades. Spend some time admiring the view or take a hike on one of the many trails in the area. One such trail leads to the remains of a historic tram that ferried miners 8,800 metres across the chasm to the bat guano mines that gave the area its name. After exploring the area, we return to Guano Point where we visit the Hualapai native market to buy their handmade arts and crafts. This is also our last chance to grab a bite to eat at the Guano Point Cafe, an open-air restaurant with a fantastic view, before we start heading back to arrive in Las Vegas in the early evening.
