The Hamptons, Sag Harbor Excursion from New York

We head east from New York to the borough of Queens, leaving the traffic of the Big Apple behind. It's easy to see why the rich and famous choose Long Island as their place to holiday and relax when little by little the skyscrapers give way to beautiful flowering parks, especially in spring. Continuing eastwards, you pass through Long Island Duck before arriving in Southhampton where famous people such as Jerry Seinfeld, Paris Hilton, David Letterman, Steven Spielberg and others live. This is definitely the place to see and be seen!
We cross the picturesque main street, then proceed to the harbour and the waterfront to admire the beautiful villas of these celebrities. After this glimpse of the rich and famous we head to one of the oldest wine bars in Southampton for a typical local wine tasting. We then continue on to Sag Harbor, a pretty town that invites you to enjoy its unique atmosphere. Time at leisure to visit the harbour with its luxurious yachts, and antique shops for real bargains.

After lunch, on the way back, stop at the Tanger Outlet where you have the opportunity to shop in branded shops at extremely competitive prices.

In the afternoon, we head west to New York City, arriving in the evening.
