Experience
You will be given two shoe covers to avoid damaging the mirrored surfaces. Skirts or clothing that by virtue of the mirrored floor may lead to unwanted views are discouraged. Stiletto heels, shoes with metal spikes or cleats could damage the floor and are not allowed.
From the moment you get on the elevator you reach the 91st floor in 46 seconds. Exiting the elevator you walk down a corridor that comes out in the first space, on sunny days the light is so bright that they suggest you bring sunglasses.
The spectacle is before your eyes, walk around, turn around, listen to the accompanying music and enjoy this visual and auditory sensory experience. Currently reigning over an installation by Yayoi Kusama and a playroom with reflective silver balls, the Japanese artist is the real inspiration behind the project that draws on her 'Infinity Rooms.'
The top floor houses the excellent cocktail bar of celebrated 'restauranteur' Danny Meyer and an open-air balcony where it is possible to make (for a fee, not included) an additional 360-meter ascent on two glass rack elevators (Ascent).
